Designed for horses of any age where keeping starch and carbohydrates to a minimum in the diet is required, such as specific metabolic disorders (Cushing's, EPSM,etc.) or for grain induced behavior problems. This pelleted soy hull and beet pulp based diet contains no molasses, corn or alfalfa meal, and can be used to replace part of your hay or pasture. Low starch differs from Lite in that it is intended for horses with higher caloric needs. Also recommended for HYPP horses where a potassium level of under 1% is recommended.
